The Mandate
Cellar Australis is a fine-wine merchant dedicated to one kind of client: the luxury cruise lines and expedition fleets that sail the far southern latitudes.
We specialise in the great wines of Europe. We secure their allocations, hold them duty-suspended in the Montevideo Free Zone, and move them in climate-controlled units to the ports your guests depart from, provenance intact.
Our mandate is simple. Every bottle uncorked below 60° South should be in the condition its producer intended.
The Allocations
Every bottle we supply is an allocation: secured at release, held in bond, and delivered in its original wooden case to your turnaround-day window.
Vega Sicilia Único, aged a decade before release and not made in lesser years. Casa Ferreirinha Barca Velha, declared only 21 times since 1952. The two legends of the Duero, offered as allocations allow.

Provisioning & Provenance
Our stock is held in the Montevideo Free Zone, Uruguay: climate-controlled, duty and tax suspended until the wine is loaded as ship’s stores.
Every movement, from the producer’s cellar to Montevideo and on to your ship, travels in temperature-controlled units. Never ambient containers.
Supplied as bonded ship’s stores: sealed from warehouse to vessel, documented for customs, planned within your allowances.
Delivered to ship’s side in Ushuaia and Punta Arenas, scheduled to your ETA and coordinated with your port agent.
Client Access
Live allocation sheets, vintage counts and sommelier notes are reserved for verified cruise lines, beverage directors and yacht management companies.
